Brent & Sierra have been in a long-distance relationship for one year. They met on a dating app called 'Mutual' in the Fall of 2017. Brent was living in Raleigh, North Carolina and Sierra was living in Fort Collins, Colorado at the time.Their first phone call lasted hours, but neither of them (Sierra) thought anything would come of it considering the distance. She later learned Brent told one of his best friends, Vic, that she was the kind of girl for who he would move across the country. They became fast friends and for the next eight months continued to strengthen their bond.

Brent let Sierra know he had a special dinner date planned. They walked from Sierra's apartment on 1st Avenue to Temple Square where Brent had dinner reservations at The Roof. He had flowers delivered to the table and Sierra's proposal radar was going off. When they walked back to Sierra's apartment, she found a trail of roses and candles lining a path to her sunroom. Brent picked up the ring box and said, "I've been waiting a very long time to ask you this. Sierra, will you marry me?"
